The DeveloperWeek 2013 (Feb. 1-7) themed “The Art of the App” starts on February 1 with a three day Hackaton followed by a 3-day conference & expo and a 1-day App Pitch Day. It will be held at SPUR Urban Center in San Francisco, CA. The event will combine technology-specific app development contests, developer tech exhibitors, startup lightning pitches, and keynote talks from the top engineers across app development, data science, and mobile deployment.
Expo will run through Tues Feb 5th / Wed Feb 6th and it will gather some great exhibitors, including New Relic, PayPal, Nuodb, and Cloudant among others. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear from 100+ speakers including: Jon Dillon, CEO and founder of EngineYard; Steve Newcomb, founder of Famo.us; and additional speakers from Google, ProgrammableWeb, PayPal, Koding.
Some of the leading experts in Big Data will converge at DeveloperWeek to discuss topics from Hadoop and distributed computing to big data search and management. Through a number of panels, keynotes, workshops and training tutorials, attendees will learn more about the big data technologies that are revolutionizing how companies are extracting value out of their data.
One of the interesting Big Data panels at the DeveloperWeek 2013 titled “Building Big Data Solutions” is moderated by BizCloud’s Founder, Mr. Vahid Razavi. The speakers at the panel include: Geoff Hendrey, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Vertascale; Jonathan Gray, Co-Founder & CTO of Continuuity; and Barry Morris, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of NuoDB. The panel is scheduled for Wednesday, February 06.
